going home is kind of weird.

+ I am home, safe and sound, in Washington where the air is actually breathable and it can never decide if it wants to rain or not (currently: not.)
+ Going through the airport in SLC, I didn't have to take my shoes off AND didn't have to take my laptop out of my bag. It was a Christmas miracle.
+ The people at that Starbucks have no idea what they're talking about. Also, whipped cream on tea?! What the heck. That's all I've got to say.
+ We got a new kitten and she is very needy. Super cute, but needy.
+ Lauryn and I have been living off junk food.
+ The beautiful weather followed me here for the first couple days and it was so great.
+ I like not working.
+ Beanies are my new favourite thing because my hair is such a mess these days, I like that I can just cover it up.
+ it's strange suddenly having a boyfriend everyday again

Grande Iced Chai Latte with Two Pumps of Vanilla and Minimum Ice

Today I went to the mall.

The mall isn't really somewhere I frequent too often these days, due to having no money. But today I wanted a walk and Costa Vida and something from Starbucks and new clothes, so the mall was the place to go.

Can we take a moment to talk about public transport?
I absolutely hate driving. Like, it's the worst ever. Here in Utah I don't have a car, so I take the bus everywhere. I'm a big believer in people watching, so it's been pretty okay... But sometimes I just want to drive, you know? Personal space issues. I'm that person that sits closest to the window, then piles up all their stuff on the seat next to them so no one will dare to sit there.

Waiting for the bus is one of my favourite things to do though. Especially in the sunshine!
I'm so conflicted.

Anyways, summertime is creeping into Utah and into all the stores, which makes me so excited.
Basically, I want to wear shorts and skirts everyday for the rest of my life. Doesn't that sound perfect?

This post is so muddled. Let's continue.

Starbucks is one of my favourite places. That's a little sad to admit, but whatever :) In my little town in Washington, we have six Starbucks stores. SIX. That's definitely a lot, considering we have a population of like, 2 000. Here, the closest Starbucks to my apartment is the mall and like I said, I don't go there often. At home it was so easy! Grocery shopping? Get Starbucks. Don't want to go class? Starbucks. At the bank you can use their drive through to get money out of your account AND get your Passion Iced Tea Lemonade, all at the same time. Washington loves Starbucks. (Hometown pride, and all that.) So thanks, University Mall, for having a Starbucks - complete with bearded hipsters on Macbooks. It was a little bit of home :)

Also, you can totally tell when summer is coming because you switch your order from regular to iced.
Today was one of those order switching days, and it was so good.

Spring Break is in 6 days! I'm thinking I'm going to take a little trip down to Portland too.
Anyone wanna come?

One last thing... I never want to live on the ground floor of an apartment building ever again.
