My birthday is my favourite day of the year, which may sound really conceited, but it really is!
My Mum used to have a rule when I was younger that I couldn't talk about my birthday until May.
Our family makes birthdays so super special that you just can't help but be jump up and down,
butterflies in the stomach, stupid smile on your face excited about it.
This year was above and beyond all I could have hoped.
*My cutie man joined in on our family tradition and woke my up with presents and singing Happy Birthday
(even though he is SO not a morning person)
*I had brunch with one of my lovely friends, which is something we've done every year
*I received a surprise gift from my bestfriend who is on her mission
- She was so thoughtful and had someone hold on to it for me before she left!
*I spent the rest of the day in Seattle with Kyle (cutie man mentioned above) and it was wonderful!
**He made sure we found a photobooth, which was my one request, bought me flowers, took me shopping,
shared Lemon & pear gelato (to die for) and listened to all my whims and fancies. sigh :)
*Delicious burgers for dinner
*Ice cream Sandwich bar for dessert! Complete with four types of cookies and four types of ice cream
I am so spoilt.
